You can cancel a booking yourself from the trip in Overseas Xpress, or ask our Customer Support team to do it for you.
Before you cancel: check the cancellation policy
Every booked item on a trip has a Cancellation policy link. Open it to see the free-cancellation deadline and any penalty that applies. The policy is set by the supplier (hotel, experience, car rental or transfer provider) and is shown again before you confirm the cancellation.
How to cancel
- Go to Trips and open the trip.
- Find the booked item you want to cancel.
- Choose to cancel it, review the cancellation policy and any penalty, then confirm.
Each item is cancelled separately, so you can cancel one product without affecting the rest of the trip. Once the travel date has passed, a booking can no longer be cancelled in Overseas Xpress. If you need help, contact our Customer Support team.
Booking statuses
- Pending: the booking has been placed and is waiting for the supplier's confirmation.
- Confirmed: the supplier has confirmed the booking.
- Cancelled: the booking was cancelled by you, your traveler, the supplier or our team.
- Failed: the booking attempt did not go through.
You can filter by status on the Bookings page. Cancelled and failed bookings also appear in the To do list on your Overview page so you can review them.
Cancellations by your traveler
If your traveler pays through a shared trip page, they can cancel their own booked items from the Already Booked tab. You are notified immediately.
Good to know
